Things to come...

WARNING....WARNING....

Busy weekend plans ahead...in no particular order...

For starters, the great flood of 2006 in Donut's basement is to be fixed on Saturday. I can't say that I will miss standing in water when doing the laundry. Only problem is that it's not an *easy* fix and there will be a LARGE HOLE(S) in the yard. Which upsets the husband more than anything. I don't pray often, but I am praying that it all goes smoothly. As smoothly as bringing a bobcat in your yard can go...then starts the patching of holes in walls and ripping up wet floor tiles at some point in time. Oh' yeah and fixing up a yard... ha!

Tomorrow, JC goes to Grandma's house to leave for 6 days. Mommy does fairly well for 3 days, then separation pains set in. Mommy plans to be very busy fixing up JC's room. So much needs to be done before he comes home next week. The only thing I have started is to take off the "top" layer of his nursery wall paper. Somehow I will have to move everything out. This tasks involves moving 124,234,123 toys. Really, that many... then comes mommy drinking LOTS of mountain dew and probably smoking a heck of a lot more than usual. Possibly more caffiene inbetween. Next, tape off the room and prime the "blue" walls so a "light" color will take, wait. Continue to wait for primer to dry and wait some more. Paint ceiling, peel tape and re-tape. After several F-Bombs, paint the walls. Then probably paint again. Because god knows after all the painting I've done, I have never gotten away with just one coat. Fucking Dutch Boy...Finally, If I get that far, clean, move only 99,234 toys back in and patiently await for my little man to come home.

In between, I hope to spend lots of fun time with Daddy. Child gone, parents can play like real adults. Ya know, go places without having to plan around 5 year olds moods, tantrums and nap times. Go walk into Borders peacefully. Dinner without having to correct bad manners and telling said child to turn around and sit every 10 minutes.

The best part, mommy has a hair appointment EARLY Saturday at Vanis. No more bad hair. If only I had more money for much needed facial, manicure and pedicure. Damn coach purchase. O'well. Tomorrow is Thursday, I made my feeling known about that before...hopefully that goes well too.
