Photo hunters...hobby

This week was hard for me, mostly because I have never really had any "hobbies" to speak of. Knitting? Tried that...no good. Reading?I fall asleep. Scrap booking? Too expensive and I'm easily frustrated with it. Sports? I laugh at physical activity!

Ever since I had my first 110 film camera, I have loved taking pictures. Perfecting my self-photos along the way, I slowly got new cameras. In 7th grade I got my first 35 mm camera, a cannon. Only in the last five years has photography been a hobby since getting a digital camera. It's wonderful, NO film to buy and the instant gratification of getting to see your pictures is awesome!
My current camera is a Nikon Coolpix 7600.
7.1 mega pixels

and I know nothing else about it...i would have to read that link as well...

I hope to move up to "big girl" camera one day. It's a learning process and the one thing I can truly say I enjoy.

I have a Nikon Coolpix, too, but not that many mega pixels I'm afraid. It is great to have though someday I hope for a better one!

No worries I don't knit either and forget the sports. I too enjoy taking photos among other things.

Love your photos. I want to learn how to take amazing pictures too - I think some people just have the knack, and others (like me) need to be taught. Thankfully trial and error is pretty easy with a digital camera :)

Nice shots! :) Photography is a great hobby. :) Digital cameras are wonderful - you can take as many photos as you want and delete the ones that don't turn out!

I'd love to take a photography class someday. I just got the Coolpix, too. Love it! My old digital was ancient!! I was going to play along with this and could have posted about knitting but feel I am just boring lately! Ah!

Steph-
I'm right there with you! I so want to take a photography class.

And you should play along with photo hunters. It's given me something to do each week that I enjoy. I'm sure the others would agree. And in the process you get to see some amazing blogs and photos!

PS...you're not boring either!

Digital cameras have made photography more affordable and more fun to play with the pictures. Have a great hunt!

We share this desire for a better camera in the future. But all I know is what I want it to do, I don't know a thing about cameras. It'll be quite a learning experience!
