Day 1 of vacation- almost gone

Words cannot explain how beautiful it was not to have to go to work today. Seriously, I got to drive, go shopping, go out to lunch with my main man, go to the library and finally the park. Outside of a slight attitude from a 6 year old, it was perfect. I must say, I don't want to go back to work.

Nope, I don't wanna go back. I heard a mom at the park tell everyone how much money she is making selling partylite. I think that's perfect for me. Yup, I'm quitting. NO longer working. Gonna go sell overpriced smelly crap to pay my bills. I can finally be the mom that can participate at school...

Wait? What? I'm living in a dream world? I must work? phooey.

So, a few more days left of heaven and I'll go back to working in hell. Well maybe not exactly hell, but close. Day 2 of our fall break vacation will bring us to the Museum of Science and Industry . My favorite of all the Chicago museums. LOVE IT! Even better? They have a star wars exhibit going on, which is right up JC's alley.

Now, I bid you farewell as I am off to finish my fairy tale day of non-work. I have laundry to fold and dinner to make. Who knew you could get so much done in one day? Seriously, I'm loving it! I'm breathing lighter knowing I actually have time. Time to do things? what is that? I love it! I even read a book this weekend and that's saying a lot!

** and thank you to all my wonderful blogging buddies for supporting me in my breast cancer walk yesterday. I surpassed my donation goal! We had awesome weather and my team and I had a great time. Thanks again!!

Have a great vacation! And so you know, I really fell for the not working thing, I thought oh my gosh, she's quitting she's going to sell something, should I tell her how much work that is and then I read on! Please, please keep working at least at the end of your shift, it is over and you can leave it! Anyway continue leaving it and enjoy it!
