Random thoughts

* Yesterday as I drove to work I saw the most gorgeous sunrise. The sky was rippled in red and orange. Of course, I did not have my camera. In hopes of having another wonderful sunrise, I grabbed my camera while heading out the door. I was timing it perfectly. JC was going to be dropped early enough so I could have 5 minutes to pull over and take photos. Nope, I got caught up by talking to the teachers and missed the sunrise completely. I did manage to take one in the parking lot at work, but then quickly realized that there are to many poles and wires in this area to get any *good* shots.

* If you are married to a geek like I am and are in need of Christmas goodies, check here. They have lots of cool toys for geek boys.

* I need new makeup. My foundation(clinque) melts off my face with in the hour and make me greasy and shiny. Don't believe me? Go check out my flickr photos from the blogger tea party. Not good... I need suggestions!

* I secretly want this shirt. Yes, I'm a dork.

* Mr. Crooked Eyebrow and I had a date last night. Wonderful it was. Feed me Thai and supply booze and I'll be yours forever.

* Speaking of alcohol, this is my new crack. Raspberry Framboise. My mouth is starting to drool already. I consumed quite the large bottle last night. I was feelin' good in the neighborhood.

*Why do parents not RSVP for a child's birthday party? Really? Do they want to sit and wonder themselves if kids are coming to their child's party?

*NaBloPoMo is almost over, I have enjoyed it and have found a lot of cool blogs, see blogroll. I added some. If you aren't on there, let me know. Cuz I think you are cool too, or something like that.

*I have the worst craving for Mexican, I must be getting ready to start. Yup, who wants guacamole? Burritos? Pass the salt retention salsa and chips please!

*As of this week, my husband and I have been together for 8 years. Sweet.

*JC will be 7 on December 1st, so in 7 years we still have not had a family picture taken.

*This is my 380th post, I feel good about that. I started blogging just for the heck of it, plain boredom and I have met some pretty amazing folks. I may not write well, or punctuate properly, but I enjoy it. Thanks for reading. Plain and simple? I love you man. Group hug!

* I often find that I am not satisfied in what I'm doing with my life. I'm in a better place than I was 2-3 years ago, but I want to do more. There are often times that I feel I have a purpose in life that I have yet to find and accomplish. I'm not sure what just yet...

* Ever have one of those secrets in your life that you can't tell your mom or other important people in your life and it hurts you so badly? No? Let me tell you, it sucks. It can torture you every second you give it and it can eat away at your soul. Or something like that. I often think about spilling the beans on post secret.

*"Um, Yeah... I'm Gonna need you to come in on Saturday."

* My to-do list for lunch: Go buy school birthday treats for class. Stop by the candy store for gummy soldiers for the appropriately themed birthday party on Saturday. If time permits, eat or drink slim fast.

* I had a dream that I had horrible bunions and had the most disgusting feet ever. I woke up panicking and quickly checked my feet out. It just turns out that my socks were too tight. I've been working in Podiatry too long. Next I'll be dreaming that I have wounds on my ass or legs. (I'm a wound nurse).

* ON that note, have a kick ass Thursday.Yes, I typed ass.

* One more bullet formation, I can't end my post with another name for a donkey.

* Which reminds me, JC kindly told me the definition for a female dog was a B.....
nice huh?

I've been reading your blog since the beginning of NaBlo but have failed miserably to comment b/c of NaB. What a loser I am! Anyway, I secretly want that shirt too and I feel your pain about "the" secret. I must tell you, I spilled the beans on PostSecret and it was published!!!!! Seeing it posted terrified me more than freed me, if you must know the truth. So now that NaB is finally over, I'll do my part a little better and show more love. :) HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

What's wrong with bunions?!?!?! I've had them since I was born!!! :(

I went to a podiatrist (if you were in my part of IN I'd now wonder if you worked there :P) locally and he told me that since they weren't hurting me and I had two toddlers that he won't do surgery on them...YET. I hate them, but they've been a part of me since I can remember...I'm horrified of what my feet will look like without them...Hell, I'm horrified of my feet now!

And thank heavens for NaNo!! I've found tons of great sites, too! Like yours :P I need to make a blogroll, too...

Um...about the only thing I can comment on (and sound reasonably sane) is the melting make-up. I use Bare Escentuals. I've used it for years, and it's all I'll use. Of course it wasn't working so well today, because everyone I saw said, "What's wrong?" Apparently I look as bad as I feel today. As long as you're not fighting off a sinus infection, and aren't severely sleep-deprived, it works great!

Nothing wrong with bunions!I work with some pretty rank feet on a daily basis. Nothing wrong with bunions. My dream was much more vivid and tmy feet were almost creature like. so yea...I'm strange....

As for make-up...Arbonne's mineral foundation is the best.

I'm married to a total geek, but I love that shirt...so I guess I'm a geek too?

Totally do the post-secret thing, because maybe then you can put it to rest and move on?

That was an outstanding sunrise. I enjoyed it while I took the dog out early in the morning. By the time I headed out the door for work it had faded sorely. The good news is there will always be another!

O.K. An Office Space reference AND a PostSecret plug all in the same post?

I think I love you.

Did you see the sunset tonight? It was pretty spactacular. Very pretty pastel hues. I was feeling too crummy to get my lazy behind off the couch to get a picture.

Congrats on 8 years, and Raspberry Framboise sounds delicious! The shirt rocks, and so does that site. Thanks for the idea!

I found your site via NaBlo and thought I should say hello!

I totally want that shirt. I say that all the time, might as well just wear it!

And I wear Bare Escentuals foundation and eye shadow. I use Clinique for all my skin care "stuff" but the BE foundation seems to cover nicely and stay put all day.

I would love to try the Bare Minerals make-up that you see on those infomercials. I wonder if anyone has ever used it. They make it sound like the most magical make-up on the planet.
