Come on in, don't bother taking your shoes off either, because as you will see later , there are 123,984,435 Lego's on the floor. So yeah, come on in!
Here is the corner behind the door. Because of the layout of the living room, the tree can only fit here. It is actually the same tree I grew up with. See the paper chain? JC sat for hours one weekend and made each ring by himself. This year we decided to let him decorate the tree. We did not put up all the ornaments this year, he picked which ones. Well, mom and dad had to have our favorites up too. Tradition, ya know?
One of my new favorite ornaments on the tree is the "hope" star...

On top of the entertainment center sits the nativity scene.
I believe it's the Willow Tree collection.
Love it. I need the manger. Sweet baby Jesus has no manger...
Wow, I am a bad hostess! I didn't even pick up all the Legos on the floor. Sorry, thank goodness for cropping.
I bought new garland this year since all of my old stuff was damaged by a broken snow globe. For some reason, the house felt empty without it. At least to me anyways, I'm sure the boys would have done fine without it.
What house isn't complete without candles. My one purchase from a party lite candle party from this year. I'm liking the snowflakes...
Well, seeing how I haven't had time for baking and such I can't offer you goodies, but JC wants to leave you with his new decoration. Rudolph from build a bear.

It looks lovely!! Far more decorated than my house!! But, in consolation, my Christmas tree is directly behind the front door, too. In fact, it blocks the front door from opening any more than halfway!!

Who knew there was a Rudolph at build a bear? Cool! My mom has the willow tree nativity too and it is on top of the entertainment center at her house. I really like it so much. It was her Christmas present from us one year and we had so much fun giving it to her! I think it is sooo cool that you let your son decorate the tree! I used to love making paper chains as a kid too. Thanks for "inviting me over"! Kelly

Merry Christmas! Christmas is for mainly children in my opinion and it was nice that your son got to decorate the tree. Your house looks festive. I have a Rudolph that sings, but his nose isn't as cool as JC's!
