A Favorite Moment, crushed by reality.

Its 4:30 a.m., the alarm rambles the AM news in all its static glory. The bed is warm, the pillow is for once perfect and there for a moment I'm caught in between sleep and wakefulness.

Oh for the love of everything sweet in this world, it's Saturday! The alarm button quickly gets slammed off with a tired, heavy hand and under the cozy covers I retreat. Twilight sleep resumes.

Minutes pass, a restless, overwhelming feeling has begun. The panic sets in. The moment of tranquility has since passed. Eyelids creak open slowly, squinting to to confirm the digital numbers that tease me. Wait a minute...

My favorite moment of knowing I'm not going to work has been severely crushed with the harsh reality that it is indeed only Friday.

So I sit here, pouting, counting down the hours till I can crawl back into bed this eve and awake to have that moment all over again. This time, it will surely be Saturday.

One of the worst feelings in the world. Such a bummer.

Hope your weekend is great to make up for it!

I hate when that happens. I long for the weekends every weekday morning when that alarm goes off.

That is a horrible feeling...I have actually gotten up on a Saturday and started getting ready for work thinking it was a weekday.

I hate alarm clocks! I love waking up whenever my body says I've had enough sleep. It's usually around 11:30am. Don't you wish we could set our own schedules?

Yuck! At least you realized it was Friday and went to work, right? Think of the positives here... Also of note, it hit like 32 degree here, woot woot!
