After what seemed to be the longest morning in the world, I took off for several hours with a full tank of gas, coffee and my camera. An hour or so later I found myself roaming around rural Indiana putting my Nikon to use.

The sunlight, great music and scenery left me with a great feeling of peace. Even if it was only for a few hours.
*as always, more photos on flickr...

Lovely photos!
I love these. I have lived in Indiana long enough to really enjoy it's beauty -- not "glamorous" but still beautiful.
Beautiful. What a nice thing to wake up to this morning!
Beautiful photos! It is so enjoyable to get away and just enjoy the view for a short time!

Wow- just last night as I was driving home through the back county roads, I was seeing the coolest trees and things I wish I could just stop and take pictures of. To take a day to go driving (with coffee!) and do that is awesome.
