Well not that long ago I did Chicago for a day. I conquered my fear of going into the big city alone and came home that day wishing I could go venture into the big city more often.
Well today is the day folks. I'm off to sit on a hot, stinky train and people watch. Although I wished it was for recreational purposes to be getting the day off from work today, it will have to do. Right? (I have never been to the Sears tower, all my life living so close to Chicago and have never been...)
During my last visit my worry was the train. Now it's another mode of transportation, hailing a cab. You see, I know I can walk the 124 blocks to the dr's office from the train station, but the thought of doing it in 90 degree weather is a little off putting. Surely the docs do not want a sweaty crooked eyebrow to exam. For sure.. but then again I would fit into the afternoon train crowd.
So here I go, Crooked is off and working on her taxi wave. Of course I shall have photos. Wonderful glorious photos. ( Ok that's exaggerated but you get the drift) Carry on and have a beautiful Monday.

You are so brave! I have yet to even attempt the train, and haven't been to the Sears tower either. Can't wait to see the pictures of your day. At least it wasn't raining.
I hope I can go back someday and really see Chicago. I feel like I flew in and flew out. Business trips should include a bonus day for sightseeing!
