Random goodness, like chicken soup for my bloggin' soul...

Time for all things random ...
(or a sorry excuse because CE can't concentrate on anything substantial for a post)

*I am over here today, please visit and give your thoughts( I'll give you kisses)

*My Christmas tree is up, but it only has JC's newly made ornaments from school on it. I kinda would like to keep it that way and have him make paper chains again this year.

*All my ornaments are the hallmark type. My favorite is one my husband gave me of Lucy and Ricky dancing when she was pregnant on the show. I actually have 2 of them. I love them.

*I had recently accepted the fact that I probably won't get to use my uterus again, but then I saw a baby the other day and cried. So I guess I'm not over it...

*Bettie Page died,I love old pin up photos. They are great, timeless photos.

* 13 more days until Christmas. I am now officially getting ready but I'm sure most people are about done.

*I received an unexpected bonus on my paycheck today. So very grateful, I can pay bills now.

* My favorite Christmas so far was when JC was one. The entire family was together as we laughed and giggled at this beautiful little boy who played inside a box for hours. Fisher price toys had NOTHING on the RCA TV box.

*If I had money and the option, I would like to spend Christmas in a warm place like Mexico at least once in my lifetime.

*This time last year I was getting ready for my sister's wedding in Cancun. Wow did 2008 go fast.

*Not only did 2008 go fast but I packed on 35 pounds too. Hopefully with the sisterhood, I will loose that in no time.

* I have been eyeing a Dooney purse like something fierce. It's a cherry patent leather "chiara" bag. Maybe with that bonus?? Nope, the sensible me is thinking...

* So far, I'm at a loss for anything else, so tell me your favorite Christmas memory. Do share...

I love your random thoughts...they always make me smile! Some of my favorite memories when my kids were little were, on Christmas Eve, hubby and I would just get to bed from setting out all the toys, when both of them would come in to our room and stand at the bed side excited cause they got up and saw all their toys and wanted us to get up and unwrap the gifts that were under the tree. We were push overs...we gave in and got up and were exhausted on Christmas morning. I miss those days...

Fave memory... there's lots. One is from last year, watching my husband and 2 year old daughter dance by the Christmas tree lights... Then he and I dancing by ourselves... sigh...

That bag is gorgeous. I seriously vote for being impractical and buying it, but then, I have a habit of spending too much on bags. And makeup. Clearly I need a sugar daddy.
So, favorite Christmas memory! It would have to be the Christmas Shane proposed. He did it slightly before Christmas, knowing that I'd want the ring to show off to people at Christmas. So smart of him!

Random, but wonderful! I like the Hallmark ornaments too and usually we each get one every year to document something we did or liked throughout the year. This year I got the "where wild things were" ornamnet that I love!! Merry Christmas.

My most memorable Christmas time moment was when I was young, my family had made a trip to Vermont because my grandmother had died and they left me in the care of my neighbors because they thought I was too young to attend a funeral.

It was close to Christmas I do recall. One evening it started to snow, which wasn't very common, and out of nowhere a white fluffy dog showed up on the doorstep. I remember looking at it through the glass front door, and just watching it, but it seemed content, like it didn't want to leave.

I can't explain really how this dog made everyone feel, and granted I was super young, but to this day I remember it like it just happened. Maybe it was an angel....

every year has a new memory...and I love seeing Christmas through my kid's eyes...and how they change over the year.
