Resolutions or lack there of.

You know what I did last year like so many other people? I made resolutions for things I wished for 2008. Yes I did and not one single one was kept.

So for 2009 I am keeping it open. If there aren't any plans, then there can't be any lack of follow through or something like that...

One long year ago I had hopes of starting school to finish my RN complete with obtaining my wound care certification. While I did apply to local colleges, I became overwhelmed with life and made every excuse in the book not to go. Whether it was money, lack of ambition or not having time after work, I just couldn't take that leap.

Yet another year and no family additions. Only canine. It doesn't count. It's something I torture myself with but I can't help but remain hopeful. My house? Not a thing done.

See? It's kind of disappointing to look back and see what you had set out to do but yet couldn't quite capture it all. In the next few days I will have to go back and look through my archives to see and remind myself of all the fabulous things I have done this year.

January started out with a bang!
*A fun girl's trip to a cabin with lots of wine. What could be better right?
* I became a dot. com (thanks to Mr. CE)
* I was addicted to Guitar Hero
*The Crooked Family was fortunate enough to see my sister get married in Cancun.
* I got to pose for this photo and see gorgeous sunrises.
* I can still remember how excited I was getting to touch and swim with the dolphins. Oh that was one smile I couldn't fake.

Well 2009 I raise my glass to you, here is to my family and I having our laughs, health and our love for each other all year long. I wish the same for all of your too...Happy New Years!

I'm reading back through your awesome January posts (seriously, your January rocked) and laughing over your trip to Mexico with a kid in the room the entire time. That had to be a bit rough!;)
I hope you have the most fabulous of 2009s!
