First random post of 2009

It's now 8 days into 2009 and I have yet to spill out all of my random, fluttering thoughts onto this here blog. Here it goes, the first of many I'm sure.

* This time last year we were packing for Cancun. Just typing that makes me feel like I'm drinking the cool drinks pool side all over again. I am patiently waiting to return to Mexico.

*Today is Steph's birthday, go wish her a Happy Birthday! Everyone loves getting birthday wishes.

* Mr. CE has the "flu". I spent my morning wiping everything down with antibacterial wipes. What in the world did I ever do without those? I love them. LOVE them.

*This morning I was squatting down to get something out of the fridge, bounced up as much as a fluffy girl can and I rammed my head right into the freezer door handle. Son of a *@#! Then I started to cry, yes it hurt, until JC tried so hard to make me better. "mom, let me see you! I'll kiss it!" Damn he's cute some days.

*Dear fiber one bars, I love you. You are delicious but I am seeing a problem when eating you these days. The feeling of having my intestines trying to come out my nose is causing a wee bit of a problem. Not to mention bubbles. Yes, bubbles. That's as much as I am willing to say for now. I'm not breaking up with you completely, I just won't be seeing you everyday. I hope you understand.

*Just a few months until I'm 30. Yikes.

*The sisterhood of the shrinking jeans is starting a new challenge today. Hopefully in the 6 week challenge I will lose it and keep it off, unlike the holiday challenge. Hopefully I can pull of a loss of one pound per week.

*Part of my job that stinks is when I see one of my favorite patients and realize that it will probably be the last time I see him. At 94 years old, he still is one heck of a stubborn ol'soldier but a small part of me thinks that he is ready. Just think, 94 years of life and all the wonderful, yet horrible sights he in war has seen. Blows my mind.

* Is it spring yet?

* My laptop is still dead as I await the power supply cord to be shipped and delivered. Until then, I can't get to my Christmas photos.

*I am in love with my new lenses. Kinda makes up for the fact that the Nikon D90 didn't appear wrapped under the tree.

*Wishing it would change, I am constantly in a love/hate relationship with my job. Today? eh. Last week? Loved. This will remain the case for probably the next 35 years.

*2009. I hope you are good to me.

I hope 2009 is good to you too.

My hard drive crashed on my laptop and my neighbor's husband is attempting to recover my lost PICTURES. He said it's looking pretty good, thank goodness! I hope your power cord arrives soon.

And only 30 years old? YOu're a spring chicken- I'll be 37 in May. THIRTY-SEVEN.

I love random posts, they rock!

Ok, I ate 2 fiber one bars on the airplane a couple years ago. I had my 3 year old and 1 year old, both asleep on my lap and all that fiber caught up with me. On the airplane. Did I mention I was alone with said toddlers? Yeah, not so much fun.

I also want spring to be here um..yesterday.

I love your random posts! So full of fun and information. Well except the bubbles and head banging. Ouch!

I hope your favorite patient goes peacefully and easily when he's ready. It's so sad to see that generation of war vets passing on. They have so much wisdom and have seen so many tragedies. They really gave their lives for us to have the freedom we have today. If you see him again, give him a big hug from me.

Ouch, I felt your pain. Thanks for honoring Steph. Yeah, 32 years ago tonight I was sitting in a sits bath. Man they did things differently back then.
I love your random thoughts...Oh, and I am gonna get in on that challenge. I started back eating healthy Monday and was down 4 lbs. already this morning.

Oh yeah. Done the whole "head smack" thing. The worst one was when I hit the corner of the kitchen cabinet door while I came up from clearing the dishwasher.

I so want a new camera I can taste it. What'd I'd do with it, I'm not sure, but I want it.

I'll be 33 in July so quit your whining.

I wished Steph a Happy Birthday!

Just tonight I turned around to put something on the counter and then started to walk and BAM! smacked my head right into the cabinet door that I left open before I turned around to put something down. I said a few choice words, oh yes I did and then I think I laughed. I have a bump on my head I tell you!!!

I hope 2009 is a fantastic year for you! I really do!
