On Valentines day...

On Valentines day my dear husband looked at me and said...

"Maybe we should buy eHarmony accounts for each other on v-day and see if we would still get matched up. What do you think? NO? "

A damn romantic isn't he? I know, he is all mine, all mine.

Instead we had a wonderful dinner together at the local Japanese steak house and he surprised me with long stem roses at work the day before. Quite the nice v-day. What did you do?

We went to a movie with the kids (Hotel for Dogs) and went out for pizza - with the kids! :) Believe it or not, it was perfect! The kids were so well behaved and we had a blast! :)

We had a yummy dinner at Roy's in Chicago on Friday, babysat grandkids on Saturday so their mommies and daddys could celebrate v-day. It was a great weekend!

My husband made fondue at home and we opened a nice bottle of wine. Then, we walked to the grocery store with the dog to get some groceries, ha ha!

Love it. Great sense of humor.

We bought a heart shaped pizza, spend time with the kids until bed, then we stayed up watching a movie, laughing, teasing each other and enjoying our alone time.

My birthday is the 13th, so my husband kind of lumped it all together. On Friday while I was out for b-day lunch with the girls, he set up a canopy over our deck and bought a new grill. He made me a lovely steak dinner that evening. On Valentine's morning, we had a blast opening Valentine cards and presents for our son. We extended the celebrations into Sunday by visiting one of our local state parks for some family fun, then starting our herb garden at home. A great weekend!
Glad you had a good one. The eHarmony thing is funny--my husband actually suggested that once before. I imagine I gave him the same glare you gave your guy. ;)

We've thought about doing the eHarmony thing. We went to Lucrezia (sp?) then I got to pick out earrings at Jared. Then the boys spent the night with their grandparents and I got to sleep in till 10:45am!! Best V-day ever!!

Ha! I'm pretty sure my husband and I would not be matched up.
Shane and I went to Lucrezia, and he gave me a spa gift certificate. Sadly, he would not order a drink with fruit in it at dinner, even after I explained to him that I won't be able to eat your alcohol-soaked fruit anymore. Other than that, it was a great VDay!;)

Oh. My. Gosh. I know I am late on this.(my computer has been flaking on me) But I was visitng Shrinking Jeans and reading about your confessional and you mentioned morning sickness and I got confused. So I ran over here to find out that you are still pregnant!!

I am so freakin' happy for you! :) :) :)

Take care.

We went to the local Japanese Steakhouse also, and even with a reservation, waited 45 minutes! It was worth it though! Fresh off our trip to Texas, we decided not to exchange gifts...

OK, that is DAMN funny.

We spent it as one big, large family, complete with my BIL, MIL, and Grandma-in-law.

At least I didn't have to cook!

What a lovely V-Day you had! Belated congrats on your miracle. I will add you to my daily prayers for a healthy and wonderful pregnancy.
(besides, I visit often even if I am lurking)

That sounds great. Mateo made me chicken and I bribed him to watch a chick flick. ;)

Hubby and I were both exhausted from Abby spending Friday night with us and getting up a lot during the night, so we spent a lot of Valentines' day napping! I made homemade waffles, he gave me some sweet tarts (can you believe?) he told me to go buy the Coach purse I wanted, but I can't spend that kind of money on myself. I would feel too guilty.

Love it!

We spent the weekend in San Antonio. Walking and walking and walking and sightseeing. It was great!

I blew my nose. All. Night. Long.

:) No really, my family came over for Papa John's and cake for my birthday, it was nice but would have been better if I could have tasted anything.

Glad you had a great day, sugarlips.

My husband and I stayed in and had dinner. I'd found a recipe for Olive Garden's apricot chicken a few days after I had it in the restaurant. We'd been wanting to try it but kept putting it off (because we'd eat out or the hubby would be working) but we decided to give it a try on Saturday, especially because we'd just bought a rocketgrill we wanted to try out (his parents LOVE theirs). So, we had some apricot chicken, rosemary potato wedges, super sweet corn, sauted green beans with onions and garlic.. and homemade cherry cheesecake for dessert :)

It was a pretty good night :)

Ahh haha!!!! I said the same thing to my husband one day when the commercial came on! It would be funny to see if we would actually get matched!
