A few bits of random crap on this fine hump day. Or just titled: CE is bored out of her mind post. They Both work.

*CE is currently home sick and bored, typing in her nice warm bed.

*Three days of trying to re-hydrate from Sunday's walk, two days of cramping and one day of a slight fever all have made this pregger lady call off work and call her midwife. (currently awaiting a call back)

*In the last hour I have been up out of my warm bed to go pee at least 4 times. One would say that I am once again, nice and hydrated.

*It seems like that was a lot of toilet paper wasted too, too bad girls can't just shake dry.

*It's been a busy week and there wasn't a chance to talk about the March of Dimes walk for Team James and Jake. As always, Beth was radiant and shined like a star the entire time as our team walked in memory of her little boys. I'm so very proud of her, her husband, her family and of all the walkers this year and last year. What a group!

*So many other great photos of our day can be found here. Go look at all those fabulous walkers!

*Dear pre-natal vitamins. I take you because you are so very good for the baby in the belly but I have to say I'm loving my new nails. Yes, my nails. They have never been so naturally long and strong before in my life. Thank you. In some strange way, nice nails make be feel all girly and pretty.

*My 30th birthday countdown will soon be starting. Before this pregnancy I was hoping for a huge blow out party with lots of...drinks. Now? I'm not hoping for anything. My 21st was a bomb because I was pregnant and now my 30th will have to be celebrated in the same way. Don't get me wrong, I have no complaints and I am very, very thankful to be pregnant. It's like all my birthday wishes for the last few years came true, so I already got my birthday present.

*Unfortunately I was hoping to know the sex of the baby beefore my birthday so I could have started my want list for the baby. It's been almost 9 years since I last purchased baby items and well, I kind of have to re-buy everything besides the crib and was hoping for an early start!

*I have to pee again.

*Last night I was trying to think of all the ways I could quit my job after the baby, but this economy sucks. I suppose I made a wise career choice in nursing and possibly an even better choice in where I work. It's so good that I'm very afraid to leave it. Where else can a nurse get salary, no overtime, no weekends, no holidays and some pretty good benefits? Not too many places, that's for sure. Can you see why I often feel stuck there even when I'd rather be a stay at home mommy?

*Still waiting for the on-call midwife to call back.

*Here is one of the very few photos of me at the walk. I like it, Erin makes me look cute. Even if I have some funky ass smile on my face. It's our bellies and for some reason, mine looks too big.

* Random candy thought. When I eat starburst, I never eat the pink ones.Never.

What random candy thought are you going to share?

I never eat yellow or green fruity candy... starburst, skittles, gummies, etc. I will, however, eat the yellow and green m&m's because they don't taste different. The end.

I think celebrating your birthday knowing you have that little baby growing is a fantastic way to celebrate.

Random candy thoughts? I only like orange jelly beans. They taste nothing like oranges, but I love them for it.

when I was pg with my son I CRAVED chewy candy...all.the.time.

I delivered him at 29 in feb and turned 30 the july after...let me tell you...I was too damn tired to even CARE that I turned 30 so really it worked to my advantage.

Too bad I won't have that distraction this year when I turn *gulp* 35.

I hate pink starbursts, too. They're just weird.
I will be not drinking on my birthday, too, so you're not alone! Granted this is just my 27th birthday so not a milestone, but I've never been unable to drink on a birthday!
I love how you look in that photo of us because your hair is perfectly blown out, while mine is the same tangled mess that it was when I rolled out of bed.
I hear you about being stuck in a job because even though you'd much rather be a SAHM, it's pretty much the next best thing to doing that. I go through job scenarios in my head almost daily now, but nothing seems to work.

Totally with you on this economy sucking!!

LOVE the photo of you and Erin!

This random candy thought actually happened last week, but why on Earth did they discontinue Tart 'N' Tinys? You know, the good kind, not the coated ones. Mmmm. I love candy.

And not eat pink Starbursts? You're crazy! They are the best, after red, of course.

My random candy thought is, I like to suck all the chocolate off a heath bar then eat the toffee part, then pick out of my teeth.
Sorry you are not feeling 100%. You do have a great job but I know being a SAHM is your dream. Every time I read that you had to pee, I had to pee too and I'm not with child. Hope your midwife calls soon!

I eat M & M's in color-specific order. Brown, then orange, then yellow, green, red, blue.

Great photos from the walk!

Now go pee.

Yep, I eat M&M's by the color too. I also eat my Good & Plenty white first then pink or vice versa, but I don't really mix them. I also eat peeps head first (it's not lobster, but I don't want to hear them scrreammmmm)

You look adorable preggers. I can't wait to see what the baby is.

I hope you're feeling better.

Did the midwife ever call back?

Random candy thought: I always eat the yellow, green and orange skittles together. I never mix them with purple and red.
