yup, random

* You know you have a good friend when she still wants to eat ice cream with you even though your son announces "You know what, my mom takes a dump everyday..."

*I have had 2 days off of work to just be a mommy and I wish I didn't have to go back and play nurse. Just to have the freedom to be able to go to the bathroom when I needed to would be worth it not to go back to work. Even JC is more relaxed with not having such a strict schedule to stick to in the morning. For once we didn't have to worry about being late.

*As a dog owner, I really hate going to the vet. Even more so when they have had a cat in the room prior to my dog. Have I ever expressed just how allergic I am to them? I spent the entire vet visit with tissue up my nose. It's the new fashion forward look for sure.

*Currently I am watching a birth story and they just showed a woman getting an epidural in detail. Although I have had one in the past, this just made me not want another even more. I hope this whole natural birth works for me.

*We now know it is a girl, but we have not had the chance to sit and discuss names together, yet...

* My family threw me a surprise 30th birthday party. Secretly...I kinda had an hunch about it. It was still nice to see that some people would spend a Saturday with me.

*I still have a craving for lemonade and pellet ice. yum.

* Shaving is much more difficult these days and I think I just might adopt that amazon look. With my ever growing belly, I'm having a difficult time seeing my toes, let alone shaving my ...ankles...

*anyone ever have a Brazilian wax? Was it worth it? Was it drop dead horrifying and painful? DO share...

* Am I the only one who is sick of hearing about Jon& Kate +8? What once was reality t.v. now seems more staged and planned, therefore leaving me uninterested. How much of a reality is it that a family can both not work, raise 8 kids and have a huge ass house? Not so much.

*This baby girl is kicking my left side so much, but no one has been able to catch a feel of her yet.

*JC is watching the birth story show with me and just said "the baby comes out of your butt??"
I may have a bit of explaining to do.

*With only a few days left off of work, there is so much I want to do and get done. If only I had a full week... There are trips to Chicago, outlet malls, the Dunes and lots of cleaning I want to get done, but don't have time for.

If you had 2 days to do what ever you wanted with an 8 year old, what would you do?

I CHOKED ON MY PRETZEL AT JC'S comment. I love to watch the birth stories on a Baby story. I know what you mean about Jon & Kate. He should be happy to just stay home and let her & the kids support them. I still watch though, just to see the drama. Not sure what I would do with an 8 year old. What about bake or play board games, water park (too cold though), or movie? Did you try the lemon ice from Culver's? Oh, I'm the first again to comment...imagine that! I'm your biggest fan.

I am STILL dying over him announcing that while we were enjoying our ice cream. It was apropos of nothing, making it even funnier.
Brazilian waxes are not bad! I mean, it hurts at the time, but it's worth it in the end.

ZING!

Seriously though, we'll talk Brazilians this weekend. I could write a whole post about this.

I came back to say that when JC made his announcement, I thought, "damn, I'm jealous."

Also, I feel like Sarah is following me around just waiting for TWSS comments today. Can't wait to talk Brazilians with you hookers.

I love JC. He sounds like my kind of kid. Poop comments are hilarious to me! (Yeah, I'm only twelve.)

I would LOVE for friends or family to throw me a surprise birthday bash. Sadly, I don't think it'll ever happen. And my birthday is just a week and 3 days away.

I spent a week with a 15, 12, 9 year old. Took them to an amusement park. By myself. Whew, what a day, but it was so much fun!

My boys TOTALLY think I pee out of my butt. I'm just letting it go. Someday when they HAVE to know the truth, I'll tell them. For now, I tell them how aunt Sarah had to have her belly sliced open with a knife to get her baby out to change the subject. ; )

Well played, Sheryl. Glad I could help!

I am cracking up at Sheryl's comment. I can remember my son thinking that pads were for my bleeding butt.

Oh I love you.

When I was pregnant with Amelia I got a book for Seth to help prepare him for me having a baby -- it is called Welcome with Love -- anyway, it showed the baby being born and he said the same thing, the baby comes out Mama's butt? I love it.

Jon and Kate, making me crazy. I feel bad for them, but also think that maybe it's time for them to step out of the limelight. clink clink my two cents.

I got waxed, not brazilian (do I look crazy??) just bikini when I was pregnant with Amelia. It hurt like the dickens.

You totally can go natural. Are you taking any childbirth classes to help at all? Watch The Business of Being Born -- great movie.

I'm glad you've been home for a couple of days. good for you relaxing. go to the park with a picnic and just spend the day playing.
