yeah, hey there...

I'm still pregnant.
It's been one of those days were I can't think of anything but trying to start labor. To the point where when I sit down to the computer all I google is "how to start labor". Since Miss E isn't making her arrival anytime soon I am finding that I need distractions.

Yes, distractions.

I have baked, cleaned, walked, eaten, had sex, driven down bumpy roads...I've done it all. She isn't here yet. So, I need distractions. This is where you come in.

Tell me something, share something, send me kick ass links to stuff I need to know about. Anything.

Please.

Got it?

Crooked Eyebrow needs distractions before I start trying to do acupressure points on myself again. Please...send help...

According to your widget, you have two days to go. Maybe Miss E has been reading your blog and thinks she has to show up in two days.
No? Okay, how about you make this recipe: http://www.scalinis.com/Bambino.htm
And let me know if it works. I had that bookmarked from when I was pregnant with Tommy, but it didn't sound good in the July heat.

I'm sorry to hear you're still pregnant, but I am still thinking that Wednesday is a good day to be born. Wednesday's my birthday - and both of my God daughters were born within three days of my birthday...a lot of fun Libras! :)

This site always gets me distracted (it's a typing test online.) http://www.keybr.com/

Sorry. It's all I've got for right now.

If laughing will put you in labor, try this. It cracks me up!

I did hear that just being joyful and laughter will bring on labor! Sorry your still pregnant! I figured you would deliver today, the most popular birthday in the USA, because conception falls on New Years Eve! Maybe you waited until New Years Day for your fun and delivery will be tomorrow! I'd tell you to go clean out and organize your cabinets in the kitchen, but that's done in your house! What about organizing your other closets???

Eat Pineapple...I just read that if you eat pineapple it can start labor...didn't even know that. I was thinking the same thing as Erin about your widget saying 2 days. Gray's birthday is Wed. I'm telling you, you need to eat a bowl of pinto beans!

I don't have any links or distractions. When you do figure out what works, let me know since I am sure I will be in the same boat as you in four weeks! I am praying for you to go soon, as I know you're so ready to meet her!

I have been there, it so hard to wait~ Soon enough you will be holding this tiny little life as she looks up to you~ Not anything like it. Congrats!

I feel for you...I really do. I have a week until my due date and I am not about being past it, at all. God probably realizes that and will teach me a real lesson in patience!

I had read the pineapple thing as a natural labor inducer as well. Good for you for trying all of those other things!

Today is my son's birthday...5 years old...and I think it would be a great day to have a baby--yours, not mine! Because I'm not about my kids sharing b-days. So, I am all about having this girl AFTER getting through today :-)

Hang in there! She truly will be here before you know it (which I know sounds cliche'), but there is nothing like this anticipatory time! How awesome it will be, though, when she is in your arms :-)

Okay, your babystrology widget countdown is going UP, is it not?? That's messed up!

I say you have a relaxing day, filled with family and friends, watch a chick flick (Whip It ,perhaps), buy something yummy to eat like ice cream or a slice of pie. Go to bed early and try to get some rest. You will need it, I know Miss E is coming soon!

Clean out your pantry and your fridge.

Then check out this site: http://www.43things.com/

It's a site about people's goals in life and how they reach them.

There's also http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ where people post secrets anonymously.

If all else fails, I watch Food Network and HGTV. :)

Good luck!!

My son was 3 weeks early, so no "going into labor" tips for you. But something I wish I had done before he was born: Take the longest shower you can stand because you probably won't be able to take a long luxurious one again for a while. Hope Miss E makes her debut really soon!!!

Well sounds like you already did my "one tip" -- have sex!! I had to do it 2 times...it wasn't really fun --- it was "just sex". I wanted that baby to make his appearance. and then it took about 40 hours of labor, but he arrived!!

Hope Miss E arrives soon...I know how miserable the waiting can be.

Hmmm... I am going to distract you with two awesome photography sites I found:

Hang in there, girl! I mean YOU and not the baby! ;p

Has anyone mentioned castor oil to you? It's only if you are desperate, and obviously before you would ever induce. It cleans you out ifyaknowwhatImean.... and gets everything going. Its a midwife thing, and I'm sure it works! But, just be prepared. Google "castor oil and induce labor", and you will get the info on it. Other then that if you are looking for a distraction I would do some window shopping at Etsy.com and look at all their showcases, its so pretty! I'm so sorry- this must be so miserable! Oh, and no caffeine, and give into sleep whenever you can, because sleep is the best thing right now! I'm putting you on a castor oil diet and an 8 o clock bedtime :)

You know, she wants to be fashionably late. No one wants to be early to a party, and this little girl is no different ;) Go get a prenatal massage and a pedicure. Or schedule that and a belly casting and I bet you'll go into labor. Works for me everytime ;)

I have nothing funny to suggest, I just wanted to let you know that I've checked in on you every single day to see how things are moving along.

Best wishes girl, she's bound to give up the oven soon!
