Teeter

Last night while looking through some photos that never found their way to editing. I saw this photo. It was taken back in late September, before we were all packed and ready to move. Our lives, at that time, were in a state of chaos. Moving, packing, school, toddler-hood...chaos.

As I was walking around the apple orchard with my family, I remember looking down the perfect lines of pumpkins. They all looked so nice, knowing that someone put a lot of effort into putting them on display. Until I got to this row.

These fall pumpkins caught my eye and reminded me that some days you are nicely lined up and have it all together, some days you fall flat on your face and well, other days you are teetering, hoping not to fall.

I think we all do a lot of teetering...
{That sure is how parenting feels}

I teeter. Lots.

Love the photo. I feel like I teeter more than not these days but accepting the imperfection (of parenting and life) frees me. :)

gosh, this is so true. i'm a total teeter'er ... moreso lately than ever before. i'm so thankful for honest bloggers who admit to teetering sometimes, too.
