Practice makes 3

Practice makes perfect? Well in our case, practice makes 3.

Yes, the Crooked Family is expanding.

Baby #3 is due around Halloween.

{EEK}

As we were sitting in our first midwife appointment last month, they were reviewing my medical history and infertility came up. Who would have thought that after having that diagnosis in my chart for years, I would be pregnant with my 3rd baby? I, for one, did not. My only thought, things happen for a reason {and in due time}.

So here I am, 12 weeks pregnant for the third time. I have been having morning sickness all day long for weeks and as of recently had the flu. Not fun. I hit my lowest weight in many, many months this weekend. It is my hope once again, that I do not add too much more weight with this pregnancy. I said that with Eden, but I can always hope.

This pregnancy has begun with mixed feelings. Yes, pregnancy and life is beautiful and I would not change a thing but I'm worried about being a strong enough mother to 3 babies. I am worried about the possibility of leaving my job. I'm worried about money, about the health of this baby {how can I get so lucky to have all 3 be perfectly healthy?}. So with good news and joy, brings worries.

Good thing we bought a bigger house,but now we have to move out of the sedan category as well. A few weeks ago, after we confirmed our baby #3 on u/s, we even swung by a dealer a test drove a mini-van. While it was nice, new, sporty, zippy and all those wonderful things, it was still a mini-van. Did I mention it barely fit in our garage? ha. It is going to be a tight squeeze all around. Money, space and now my pants. I am getting a bit bigger and faster this time around. I actually had to fasten my pants with a hair tie the other day, because I am not digging out maternity wear this early.

12 weeks down and many, many more to go. Hopefully healthy feeling ones soon!

{and a scanner that would start working so I can show off my baby!}

(and to the peeps reading at Riley's, "Hello! Only one baby in there!")

So awesome! I couldn't be more happy for you, Donya. I understand your mixed emotions so well, and encourage you to experience them and discuss them with your inner circle as much as you need to. In the end, it will all be wonderful, and I'm sure you already know that, but a new family member is huge and it takes time to process and adjust. You're a strong enough mother for MORE than three kids, my friend. You'll be golden!
